Gazi Husref-bey's covered market building

This massive basilica-like stone building extends in length of 109 meters along the street bearing the same name. It was built by the Ragusa masters by the order of the then Bosnian sandzak-bey (governor) Gazi Husref-bey, in period from 1542 to 1543.

Bosnian Institute  - Foundation Adila Zulfikarpašiæa

It is located in the center of the old part in Sarajevo at no. 21 Mula Mustafe Bašeskije. The Bosnian Institute complex consists of three buildings: the main building housing the library with collection of works of art, the Gazi Husrev-beg Hammam and the administrative building. This complex has an area of 4,500 sq. m. Architecturally, this state-of the art designed Institute belongs to rare successful blend of modern and oriental architecture.
